The Bumblebee's favourite caller is Peter Roud !!

Peter acts as "MC" for the evening, keeping both the dancers and the band in order. He has many years experience as a caller (yes, he's older than the band **), knows a fantastic variety of dances and works with both novice and experienced groups.  He puts everybody at ease and delivers his directions with a good helping of humour.

Peter learned his folk dancing growing up in the Woodcraft Folk.

When he's not folk dancing he keeps a tidy allotment, walks with Croydon Ramblers and goes running (** he's much fitter than the band having completed 3 marathons including London and San Fransisco in recent years with a personal best of 3h44).
